Singles (Travis album)

"Singles" is a compilation album by Scottish rock band Travis. It was issued on 1 November 2004 and features all of their UK top 20 hits, from their debut album "Good Feeling" up to the point of release. The album includes the band's twelve top 20 UK singles and also two tracks from the band's debut album which did not enter the charts.

The lineup of the band during the making of this album included Fran Healy as the main vocalist and on rhythm guitar, Dougie Payne on Bass Guitar and Vocals, Andy Dunlop on Lead Guitar, Banjo, and Vocals, and Neil Primrose on Drums, Percussion.

One unusual aspect of the album is the presence of the song “Walking in the Sun.” Despite being featured on the album, it wasn't released as a single until two weeks after the album's release.

"Singles" received critical acclaim and managed to peak at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart. Despite its name, the album isn't just a collection of singles; it’s a compilation that demonstrates the evolution of the band's sound over the years with songs ranging from the raw, post-Oasis indie of early favorites like "More Than Us" to the polished, anthemic pop of later hits like "Sing."
