Galore

"Galore: The Singles 1987–1997" is the second singles compilation by The Cure, released on 28 October 1997. The album features singles from the years 1987 to 1997, with "Wrong Number" being the only new track included. The cover art showcases a photograph of Isabel Caroline Slark by Ralph John Perou from around 1997. The compilation was first launched in the US on 28 October 1997 by Elektra and subsequently released in the UK and Europe by Fiction on 3 November. It encompasses singles from the latter part of The Cure's career, starting with their seventh album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and concluding with their tenth album Wild Mood Swings. To promote the album, The Cure performed two full-length shows in October 1997 at the American Legion Hall in Los Angeles and Irving Plaza in New York City. The single "Wrong Number" was released in the United States on 17 November 1997.
