No Quarter: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant Unledded

"No Quarter" is a live album by former Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, released on November 07, 1994, by Atlantic Records. The album captures their reunion for the MTV project "UnLedded," which was filmed in locations across Morocco, Wales, and London.

Notably, the reunion did not include bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, who was unaware of the project until it was announced. His absence led to some tension, especially since the album was named after "No Quarter," a song largely attributed to his contributions.

The album features acoustic renditions and reimagined versions of classic Led Zeppelin songs, enhanced by a Moroccan string band and Egyptian orchestra. It also includes four original songs influenced by Middle Eastern and Moroccan music: "City Don't Cry," "Yallah," "Wonderful One," and "Wah Wah."

Reflecting on the collaboration years later, Plant spoke highly of the experience, noting Page's creativity and the ambitious nature of their work together.

In July 2014, Guitar World included No Quarter in its list of "50 Iconic Albums That Defined 1994."

All tracks are written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, except where noted. Notably, the track "Wah Wah" is an extra track that was not included in the original US and Canadian releases but appears on many international versions.
