The Album
"Every Country's Sun" is the ninth studio album by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai. In April 2016, guitarist Stuart Braithwaite informed The Guardian that Mogwai were in the process of writing new material and planned to travel to the US later in the year to record with Dave Fridmann, who had previously produced their 2001 album Rock Action. On March 3, 2017, the band announced that they had finished recording and were mastering the album at Abbey Road Studios.
