Gamma 3

"Gamma 3" is the third and final studio album by the rock band Gamma. It was released in 1982. The band, led by guitarist Ronnie Montrose, was active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. "Gamma 3" continues the band's blend of hard rock with synthesizer-driven sounds, a hallmark of their style during this era.

The album features a mix of uptempo rock tracks and more melodic compositions. The band members during this album included Ronnie Montrose on guitar, Davey Pattison on vocals, Glenn Letsch on bass, Denny Carmassi on drums, and Mitchell Froom on keyboards. Froom's presence contributed to the band's distinctive sound by adding keyboard textures that were quite prominent in the mix.

"Gamma 3" includes tracks such as "What’s Gone Is Gone," "Right the First Time," and "Moving Violation." The album received moderate success and was part of that era's rock scene characterized by experimentation with synthesizers and new wave influences in traditional rock music.
