Stranger in Us All

"Stranger in Us All" is an album by the British rock band Rainbow and was released in 1995. It is often regarded as the rebirth of the band as it marked the return of the group following a lengthy hiatus. It is their ninth studio album and the only one featuring singer Doogie White.

The album was originally intended to be Ritchie Blackmore's solo album,but due to obligations with their record label, it was billed as Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, making it the band’s first studio album in 12 years. The album title supposedly came from a phrase within a book that Ritchie Blackmore was reading, seeking to suggest that there are aspects to every person's personality which they do not recognize.

The music itself is a mix of hard rock and heavy metal, with the distinctive Rainbow feel evident throughout. It contains songs like "Ariel," "Too Late for Tears," "Wolf to the Moon," and more. "Ariel" was the album's single, which also featured a music video.

"Black Masquerade" is one of the fan favorites from this album. The album's sounds featured tight performances and a wide array of rock and roll styles. Despite positive reviews, it did not achieve high sales and the band would disband once more after touring in support of it. It effectively stands as the band's last studio album to date.
