Wild Life

"Wild Life" is the debut studio album by the British-American band Wings, which was formed by former Beatles member Paul McCartney and his wife, Linda. Released on December 7, 1971, the album was recorded over a week-long period during July in that year. It was the first project released by the newly formed band, which consisted of Paul, Linda, drummer Denny Seiwell, and guitarist and former Moody Blues member Denny Laine.

"Wild Life" comprises eight songs, with highlights including the title track and "Dear Friend", a heartfelt plea for reconciliation with John Lennon following the acrimonious breakup of the Beatles. The album diverges from the polished pop sound that McCartney was known for, featuring a raw, unadorned sound that was generally considered a departure from McCartney's previous work.

Reception to "Wild Life" was mixed upon its release, with critics often citing the album's hurried production and lack of fully formed ideas.
