White Album

The "White Album", also alternatively titled "Weezer (White Album)", is the tenth studio album from the influential American rock band called Weezer. It was released on April 1, 2016. A varied collection of tracks, the album was enthusiastically received by fans and critics alike, with many citing it as one of Weezer's best works since their earlier efforts.

The creation of the White Album saw Weezer return to their roots with a Beach-Boys-inspired ambience. Frontman Rivers Cuomo stated in an interview that during the production of the album, he spent time studying his pop music forebears including the Beatles while also enjoying the sun and surf of California to draw inspiration for the album's creation.

All tracks on the album are composed by Rivers Cuomo except "Endless Bummer" which was co-written with drummer Patrick Wilson. Furthermore, the album was produced by the famous producer, Jake Sinclair. The album had terrific commercial success, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard 200, while gaining heavy rotation on rock radio stations. It was appreciated for its buoyant pop-rock vibrancy and incisive lyrics. The album was ultimately nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2017, further affirming its critical and commercial success.
