Good Stuff

"Good Stuff" is the sixth studio album by the American new wave band The B-52's, released in June 1992. The album was a commercial success, earning a Platinum status by the RIAA and featuring "Good Stuff" and "Hot Pants Explosion" as its popular singles. It marked a change in the band's sound, leaning more towards the dance-oriented alternative rock genre compared to their earlier work.

One of the notable aspects of this album was the absence of band-member Cindy Wilson who left to start a family during the making of the album, making "Good Stuff" the only album where she does not appear. The album was dedicated to Ricky Wilson, Cindy's late brother, who was a key member of the band before his passing.

Despite Wilson's absence, the band, which then featured Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, and Keith Strickland, garnered critical acclaim for the album. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 1993, reflecting its positive reception and popularity during that period.

The title track "Good Stuff" was released as the album's lead single and became one of the band's biggest hits, charting within the top 40 in numerous territories. The band also promoted the album with an appearance on Saturday Night Live and a successful worldwide tour.
