Book of Dreams

"Book of Dreams" is the tenth studio album by the Steve Miller Band. Released in 1977, it includes three charting singles: "Jet Airliner," "Jungle Love," and "Swingtown." The album continued the band's transition into more of a pop-rock band from their psychedelic blues rock roots. The album was a commercial success, reaching #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and achieving platinum status in the US and Canada.

The album was recorded during the sessions for the Steve Miller Band's previous album, "Fly Like an Eagle." The band's frontman, Steve Miller, decided that there was enough material for two albums, resulting in "Book of Dreams" being released over a year later. The music on the album is a mix of different styles, including rock, pop, blues and a bit of psychedelia.
