Why This Album Matters
This album matters because its strongest editorial story is: Chart Success.
The Album
"Abracadabra" is the twelfth studio album by the Steve Miller Band, released in 1982 by Capitol Records. Unlike previous albums, most of the songs on "Abracadabra" were not composed by Steve Miller himself but rather by drummer Gary Mallaber, who brought in demos from another band he was in. Miller produced two of his own songs on the album.
