Sweets from a Stranger

"Sweets from a Stranger" is the fifth studio album by the British new wave group Squeeze, released on April, 1982, through A&M Records. The album achieved moderate success, peaking at number 20 on the UK Albums Chart.

Following the release of "Sweets from a Stranger," Squeeze underwent a period of turmoil, eventually splitting up after a world tour in support of the album. The band's two primary songwriters, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, pursued solo projects, with their collaborative album "Difford & Tilbrook" released in 1984. Despite the hiatus, Squeeze later reunited and released "Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti" in 1985, continuing their musical journey.
