Good Karma

"Good Karma" is the tenth and final studio album by the Swedish pop rock duo Roxette, comprising Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. Released on June 3, 2016, under Roxette Recordings and Parlophone, it marked their only album under an international recording contract with Warner Music Group. Produced by Gessle, Christoffer Lundquist, and Clarence Öfwerman, with co-production by Addeboy vs. Cliff, the album showcases a more electronic sound, influenced by Gessle's decision to focus on intricate compositions without the pressure of live performances.

Recorded over nearly two years, the album's production was interrupted by the duo's The Neverending World Tour, which concluded due to Fredriksson's health issues. The lead single "It Just Happens" was released on April 8, 2016, preceded by a Sebastien Drums remix of "Some Other Summer". Subsequent singles "Some Other Summer" and "Why Don't You Bring Me Flowers?" were also well-received, with fan-made content for "Some Other Summer" going viral despite controversy in Poland.

Receiving positive reviews, the album was praised for Gessle's songwriting and Fredriksson's vocal performance, though some critics noted its overt electronic production. Commercially successful, it debuted at number one in the Czech Republic and reached number two in Switzerland and Sweden. It marked Roxette's highest-charting studio album in Australia and the United Kingdom since the 1990s, serving as a fitting conclusion to their illustrious career.
