Achtung Bono

"Achtung Bono" is the tenth album by the British rock band, Half Man Half Biscuit (HMHB). It was released on 12 September 2005 under the record label Probe Plus. The title of the album is a playful jab at U2's Achtung Baby, reflecting the band's wit and penchant for satirical humor.

Half Man Half Biscuit, renowned for their unique lyrical style, blends British culture, football references, aspects of surrealism, and literary references which are clearly evident in this album.

This album contains thirteen tracks, each demonstrating the band’s clever and humorous social commentary. Some notable standout tracks include "Joy Division Oven Gloves," which later played a significant role in an online campaign in 2015 to get a band’s song to the top of UK charts.
