Mr. Moonlight

"Mr. Moonlight" is the eighth studio album by British-American rock band Foreigner, released by Arista Records in Europe on 24 October 1994 and by BMG Entertainment in Japan on 23 November 1994. In the United States and Canada, it was released in early 1995 on the Rhythm Safari label. The album was recorded at seven different studios across the United States and produced by Mick Jones, Lou Gramm, and Mike Stone, with additional production by Phil and Joe Nicolo. This album marked Foreigner's last studio release until Can't Slow Down in 2009.

Mr. Moonlight is notable for being the first album since Inside Information in 1987 and the last to feature original lead singer Lou Gramm. Before working on this album, Gramm had recorded three new tracks for the compilation The Very Best ... and Beyond. This album was also the first in fifteen years without bass guitarist Rick Wills, who had been with the band since 1979, and drummer Dennis Elliott, a founding member.

Despite the intention for it to be a comeback release, Mr. Moonlight was commercially disappointing, peaking at number 136 on the Billboard 200 chart, and it is considered Foreigner's worst-selling studio album.
