Tracks of My Years

"Tracks of My Years" is the twelfth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released on September 30, 2014. The album features ten covers, including "Lay Lady Lay" by Bob Dylan, "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Ray Charles, and "Any Time at All" by The Beatles. It also includes "She Knows Me," an original song co-written by Adams and Jim Vallance, which served as the album's only single.

Adams mentioned that selecting songs for the album took considerable time, stating that they recorded various tracks until they found ones that sounded distinct from the originals. The recording process lasted about three months over two years and was primarily produced by David Foster and Adams himself.

In 2016, Adams expressed initial reluctance to record a covers album, as his label Polydor had pushed for it. However, he ultimately enjoyed the process, praising Foster's production skills. During this time, he was also working on his thirteenth studio album, Get Up, with producer Jeff Lynne, often switching between the two projects.

The album debuted at number one on the Canadian Albums Chart, selling 14,000 copies in its first week, and reached number 22 in Italy. In the US, it debuted at number 89 on the Billboard 200, with 4,000 copies sold in its first week. As of September 2015, the album has sold a total of 14,000 copies in the US.
