Salvation (Alphaville album)

"Salvation" is the fifth studio album by the German synth-pop band Alphaville. Released on September 26, 1997, Salvation marked a major change in the band's direction. With this album, Alphaville moved away from the synth-pop sound that characterized their earlier work and leaned towards a more diverse, mature pop and rock style.

The album was released after a significant hiatus. Previously, Alphaville had experienced significant changes in the line-up and personal struggles, causing delays in the production.
