"For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)" (often shortened to For Those About to Rock on its cover) is the eighth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released on November 20, 1981, in the United States and on November 27, 1981, in the United Kingdom. The album served as a follow-up to their massively successful Back in Black and went on to become another major success for the band, selling over four million copies in the U.S. It was AC/DC's first and only album to reach No. 1 in the U.S. until Black Ice in 2008. The album was later re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC Remasters series.
