Alter Bridge is an American rock band formed in Orlando, Florida, in 2004. The band was created after Creed went on hiatus, leading its members Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips to join forces with then-The Mayfield Four vocalist Myles Kennedy. Their debut album 'One Day Remains' was created quickly and released in the same year. Despite forming as an extension of Creed's legacy, Alter Bridge has established its own significant stature in the rock world through sustained hard rock and post-grunge influences.
