This Is a Fix

"This Is a Fix" is the second studio album by Welsh rock band The Automatic, released on August 25, 2008. After the success of their debut album "Not Accepted Anywhere" and the departure of keyboardist Alex Pennie, the band introduced new member Paul Mullen, formerly of Yourcodenameis:milo, bringing a shift in their sound.

The album was recorded across various locations, including Los Angeles and Richmond, with producer Butch Walker and later with Richard Jackson in Wales. It presented a more mature and polished sound compared to their debut, incorporating elements of post-punk and alternative rock, which marked a departure from their earlier more pop-oriented punk style.
