Odyssey

"Odyssey" is a greatest hits album by English pop band Take That, released on November 23, 2018, by Polydor Records. The album features re-imagined versions of the band's classic tracks, with new arrangements and production by Stuart Price. It also includes three new songs: "Out of Our Heads", "Spin", and "Everlasting." The collection debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, marking Take That's eighth number-one album. It became the fastest-selling album of 2018, selling over 100,000 copies in its first week.

In addition to the reworked tracks, Odyssey includes interview snippets featuring all five Take That members. Gary Barlow mentioned that the traditional "greatest hits" albums were becoming obsolete, as fans can easily access an artist's complete discography online. As a result, the band aimed to offer a unique take on a best-of collection. The album also features collaborations with Barry Gibb and Boyz II Men.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Barlow expressed a relaxed attitude toward the album's commercial performance, stating, "If I could be bold, I don't give a shit whether the new album's a hit or not... Even if it's a flop, we're still going to go on tour next year and play to 600,000 people." This comment highlighted the band's focus on their continued success as a live act, regardless of album sales.
