All Our Own Work

"All Our Own Work" is a collaborative folk-rock album by English musician Sandy Denny and the band The Strawbs. Released in 1973, the album was actually recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in July 1967, before Sandy Denny gained recognition as the lead vocalist of Fairport Convention. The album includes her first ever song composition, "Who Knows Where the Time Goes", which later became one of her more reputable songs after being covered by numerous artists.

The album consists of 12 tracks and was initially unable for release by the UK record company, as it wasn’t considered commercial enough at the time. However, the tapes were rediscovered years later, and after the phenomenal success of both Sandy Denny and The Strawbs, it was finally released in 1973. The album features the vocals of Denny, a standout in the English folk rock scene, and marks her first important body of work. The Strawbs eventually became successful in the 1970s progressive rock scene with the albums "Grave New World" and "Bursting at the Seams".
