Initially intended for a live album, the recording was later shelved as the band shifted focus to the development of the Anesthetize DVD project. However, following news of Mick Karn's advanced-stage cancer diagnosis, the band decided to release the Atlanta recording as a downloadable item through the Burning Shed online store at a low cost. The album, available as a .RAR file split into two parts, features MP3 format at 320 kbit/s and includes printable artwork designed by Carl Glover.
