Pillow Lips

"Pillow Lips" is an album by the British new wave band, Modern English. Released in 1990, the album marked their fourth studio release. The band shot to fame in the early '80s and "Pillow Lips" was their comeback album after a brief hiatus. The album was released under the label TVT Records.

"Pillow Lips" provides a melting pot of post-punk and new wave style, which the band is recognized for. The most notable track on the album is "I Melt with You," which is a re-recorded version of their 1982 hit from the album "After the Snow." This version of the song received considerable airplay and charted higher in the U.S than the original, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
