Cuckoo (album)

"Cuckoo" is the second studio album by the British alternative rock band Curve, released on September 13, 1993, through Anxious Records and Charisma Records. While the album showcased the band's distinctive sound, it was less commercially successful compared to their previous releases. Despite this, Cuckoo remains a significant part of Curve's discography, reflecting their evolving musical style.

In an August 1996 interview with Select magazine, Curve frontwoman Toni Halliday reflected on Cuckoo, expressing that it was their best album despite the band's turbulent period. She described a phase of excess and hedonism that contributed to their decision to part ways, indicating that they had reached a point of self-awareness and exhaustion.
