High Hat

"High Hat" is a solo studio album by British singer-songwriter Boy George, released in 1989. It was essentially the artist's third solo album, following "Sold" and "Tense Nervous Headache". However, unlike the previous two which were released by Virgin Records, "High Hat" was released by Virgin France S.A. Interestingly, all 10 of the tracks on "High Hat" were also included on "Tense Nervous Headache", albeit in a remixed form.

The album features the hit singles "Don't Take My Mind on a Trip" and "Whisper", which reached number 68 and number 74 respectively on the UK Singles Chart. Other songs include "You Are My Heroin", "I'm Not Sleeping Anymore", "Kipsy", "Mama Never Knew", "What's Boy G'a Do", "Don't Cry" and "Girl with Combination Skin".

Although there isn't much information available on the professionals involved in producing the album, what's clear is that "High Hat" was a notable project in the discography of Boy George, who first found fame as the lead singer of the British band Culture Club.
