Billie Holiday Sings

"Billie Holiday Sings" is the first full-length studio album by American jazz singer Billie Holiday, released in the U.S. in 1952. Unlike her initial releases which were compilations of previously issued 78 rpm records, this album was among her first original LPs. It was released on the Clef Records label and mainly consisted of jazz and pop standards, framing Holiday's unique vocal style with a small jazz ensemble.

The album brought together a collection of songs that defined Holiday much more by their emotional reach than their stylistic range, offering a probe into the emotional palette of her vocal style. Notably, the album included some of her most famous songs like "I Only Have Eyes for You" and "My Man".
