Two Hands

"Two Hands" is the fourth studio album by American indie rock band Big Thief, released on October 11, 2019. It follows their earlier 2019 release, "U.F.O.F.," and the two albums were conceived as companion pieces. While "U.F.O.F." was recorded in a more ethereal and lush style in a Washington state studio, "Two Hands" was recorded in a stark and raw manner at the Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas. The setting and recording conditions—capturing live takes and emphasizing a stripped-back sound—allowed the band to focus on a direct and grounded energy.
