Ring of Changes

"Ring of Changes" is the twelfth studio album by British rock band Barclay James Harvest, released in 1983. Known for their unique blend of progressive rock and classic ensemble, Barclay James Harvest had been a fixture in the UK music scene since the late 1960s.

In this album, the band ventured into the realm of mainstream pop, while continuing to incorporate the symphonic, orchestral elements that were a hallmark of their music. The album was something of a departure from their previous work, with more emphasis on pop melodies and lyrics reflecting contemporary concerns.

The album includes 10 songs, among them the notable tracks "Just a Day Away" and "Midnight Drug". "Just a Day Away" was released as a single and became a minor hit in the UK.
