Love & Other Bruises

"Love & Other Bruises" is the third studio album by British-Australian soft rock duo Air Supply, serving as their debut album in the United States and their only release internationally. The album features re-recorded versions of past singles, including tracks from their self-titled debut album and "The Whole Thing's Started." Additionally, new songs like "Who Will Love Me Now" and "Does It Matter" were penned specifically for this album.

Recorded in America while the band toured in support of Rod Stewart, the album was tailored for the American market. Interestingly, Air Supply's touring band was not involved in the recording process; instead, lead vocalists Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock laid down their vocals over tracks performed by American studio musicians. This decision led to tension within the band, resulting in the departure of bass player Jeremy Paul after the album's release.

Despite the efforts to break into the American market, "Love & Other Bruises" failed to chart, marking a setback for Air Supply's international ambitions.
