Spooky Tooth

"Witness" is the seventh studio album released by Spooky Tooth in 1973. This album marked the return of original drummer Mike Kellie, who replaced Bryson Graham. Gary Wright, a prominent figure in the band, continued to be the dominant songwriter during this period. One significant change during the album's production was the departure of co-lead singer Mike Harrison shortly after its release. Despite the lineup adjustments, "Witness" continued Spooky Tooth's trajectory in blending rock with elements of blues and progressive music. The cover art of "Witness" prominently features the Eye of Providence, a symbol commonly associated with mystical and esoteric themes, which added to the album's mystique and intrigue. In 2005, the album was remastered and re-released on compact disc (CD) by Repertoire Records, ensuring its continued availability to fans and music enthusiasts.
