Status Quo

"Quid Pro Quo" is the 29th studio album by the English rock band Status Quo, released in May 2011. The album debuted at number 10 in the UK charts and features 14 new songs, as well as the 1968 classic hit "In the Army Now" which was re-recorded in support of the Help for Heroes and British Forces Foundation charities. The band, Status Quo, has been associated with the rock genre since its formation in 1962. It includes members Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, John 'Rhino' Edwards, Andy Bown, and Leon Cave. Parfitt and Rossi, in particular, have significantly contributed to the band's sound and success over the years. "Quid Pro Quo" was primarily released as a deluxe edition that contained the full album on one disc and a collection of hits on the second disc, performed almost entirely at the Arbiter's infamous Frantic Four concert at Wembley in March 2013. The album was well-received, with critics highlighting the band's continued energy and the intensity of their performance. Despite Status Quo having a long-established reputation in the rock world, "Quid Pro Quo" was important for continuing to confirm the band's place in rock music history.
