"Fallen Angel" is the twelfth studio album by the English rock band Uriah Heep, released in September 1978 by Bronze Records in the UK and Chrysalis Records in the US. It marks the final album to feature John Lawton on vocals before his departure in 1979. Despite its limited success on the Billboard 200 where it reached No. 186, the album achieved considerable popularity in Germany, where the band was at its peak.
Musically, "Fallen Angel" represents a departure from Uriah Heep's progressive rock roots towards a more mainstream AOR (album-oriented rock) sound. The album includes elements of hard rock and melodic rock, reflecting the band's evolution at the time.
In 1997, Castle Communications remastered and reissued "Fallen Angel" with four bonus tracks. It was further expanded in 2004 with a deluxe edition, appealing to collectors and fans of the band's extensive discography.
