"In the Middle of Nowhere" is the fourth studio album by the German duo Modern Talking, released on 10 November 1986 by Hansa Records. The album produced the hit single "Geronimo's Cadillac," which became one of their most successful tracks, charting in the top five in Germany and Austria, and reaching the top 10 in several other countries including Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway.
The album debuted at number one on the German charts on 1 December 1986 and spent a total of seven weeks in the top 10. It achieved significant commercial success, eventually being certified gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) for shipments exceeding 250,000 units in Germany. The album solidified Modern Talking's popularity in Europe and contributed to their continued success in the mid-1980s.
