"Turtle Soup" is the fifth and final studio album by the American rock band the Turtles, released in 1969 under the White Whale Records label. The album marked a notable collaboration, being produced by Ray Davies of the Kinks, his first venture into producing another band's record.
Despite reaching only number 117 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, "Turtle Soup" produced two singles that charted on the Billboard Pop Singles chart: "You Don't Have to Walk in the Rain" peaked at number 51, while "Love in the City" reached number 91.
Over the years, the album has been reissued with additional material. A 1993 CD release by Repertoire Records included 8 bonus tracks, while a 1996 reissue by Sundazed Records added two more bonus tracks, expanding the original album's content.
