"Abracadabra" is the twelfth studio album by the Steve Miller Band, released in 1982 by Capitol Records. It achieved significant success internationally, topping the charts in Germany and charting in nine countries overall. The album spawned four singles, including the title track which reached number one on the pop chart. Unlike previous albums, most of the songs on "Abracadabra" were not composed by Steve Miller himself but rather by drummer Gary Mallaber, who brought in demos from another band he was in. Miller produced two of his own songs on the album.
