"Circle of Love" is the eleventh studio album by American rock singer Steve Miller. It was released in October 1981 by Capitol Records. The album's notable genre contains rock and pop elements, shifting away from Steve Miller's earlier blues-inspired albums.
"Circle of Love" returned Steve Miller to a simpler, more pop-infused sound following two experimental albums. Despite this, the album is celebrated for the long, progressive title track that occupied the entirety of Side 2 of the vinyl release.
The album proved to be the least successful release since 1969's "Brave New World," peaking at #26 on the Billboard 200 and producing no charting singles. However, the track "Heart Like a Wheel" was a significant hit at Album-Oriented Rock radio, which helped to set the stage for the band's multi-platinum successes that followed.
