Nazz

"Nazz Nazz" is the second studio album by American rock band Nazz released in 1969. Nazz, which was led by Todd Rundgren, was known for their blend of psychedelic and garage rock, and this album reflects those musical influences. "Nazz Nazz" is considered more expansive and experimental than their self-titled debut album, "Nazz." Originally intended as a double album, plans changed due to disagreements within the band. The second half of the intended double album was released later as "Nazz III." Some of the most popular tracks off "Nazz Nazz" include "Forget All About It," "Under the Ice", and "Not Wrong Long.” The album had been critically recognized for its range of styles, from being bluesy to hard rock, to the psychedelic themed. The band members during this album were Todd Rundgren, Carson Van Osten, Thom Mooney, and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni. Although Nazz had a short run, it played an important role in shaping Todd Rundgren's musical journey, who went on to gain much success as a solo artist and record producer.
