"To All New Arrivals" is the fifth studio album by the British dance music act Faithless, released on November 27, 2006. This album followed the success of the Faithless Greatest Hits tour, which had originally been announced as the band's "final tour." The title of the album was inspired by the recent births of two children to band members Rollo and Sister Bliss. The album cover features the 1880 oil painting Nightfall on the Thames by John Atkinson Grimshaw.
The album's release was preceded by the single "Bombs," which came out a week earlier. Although To All New Arrivals entered the UK Albums Chart at number 30, this was seen as a disappointment, particularly given that their previous album, No Roots, had debuted at number 1. Despite this, the album was supported by a major UK arena tour, which kicked off in Nottingham on March 17, 2007.
The album's title was personally significant to lead singer Maxi Jazz, who was drawn to it due to his Buddhist faith and the fact that his parents had been "new arrivals" to the UK in the 1950s. The tagline for the album includes lyrics from the song "Music Matters," which express gratitude to those who have stood up for music and its deeper message, rather than for money.
One of the album's standout tracks, "Spiders, Crocodiles & Kryptonite," features guest vocals from Robert Smith of The Cure. The song also includes a sample and part of the arrangement from The Cure's hit "Lullaby."
Initially, the album was not released in the United States, though a deluxe version eventually became available on the US iTunes Store on November 4, 2007.
