"Abracadabra" is the sixth studio album by the English band ABC, released in August 1991 on EMI. This album represents a notable shift in the band’s sound, integrating early 1990s techno influences with their established dance-pop style.
Mark White, a founding member of the band, played a significant role in this album but departed in 1992, making "Abracadabra" his final contribution to ABC's studio work.
The album's first single, "Love Conquers All," reached No. 47 on the UK Singles Chart. The album also included the track "Say It," which received positive attention through remixes by Black Box and performed well on US dance charts, showcasing the band's adaptability to the evolving dance music landscape of the early 90s.
Despite its mixed critical reception, "Abracadabra" reflects ABC's efforts to experiment with new sounds and trends while maintaining their distinctive style.
