James Gang

"Straight Shooter" is the fourth studio album by James Gang, released in July 1972. It marked the band's first album without guitarist and vocalist Joe Walsh, who departed to form Barnstorm. Remaining members Dale Peters and Jim Fox were joined by former Bush singer Roy Kenner and guitarist Domenic Troiano. The album saw the merging of the remnants of James Gang and Bush following their respective breakups. "Straight Shooter" was released on ABC Records in the US and Probe Records in the UK. It represents a transitional period for the band as they adjusted to lineup changes and explored new musical directions.
