"Jesse Come Home" is the ninth and final studio album of the American rock band, James Gang. The album was released in 1976 under the 'Atco' label. It is titled in recognition of the band's home state, Ohio and refers to a historic event (Jesse James' return home), symbolizing the band's decision to return to their roots. The album marked the return of the band's original guitarist Glenn Schwartz who replaced Tommy Bolin.
Despite the reformed lineup of original band members, "Jesse Come Home" did not manage to replicate the success of some of their earlier works. The album's mixture of hard rock and blues, combined with some elements of jazz, didn't attract a lot of commercial success.
The track-list includes songs like "I.G.Y.", "Feelin' Alright," and "Drifting" among others. Despite its lack of commercial success, the album was met with positive reviews for how closely it reflected the band's original sound and aesthetic.
