"Give More Love" is the nineteenth studio album by English musician Ringo Starr, released on September 15, 2017, by UMe. The album was recorded primarily at Starr's home studio in Los Angeles. It features contributions from his regular collaborators, including Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, Gary Nicholson, and Bob Malone, as well as members of his All-Starr Band. Notably, the album also includes guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Starr's former Beatles bandmate. Give More Love is the nineteenth studio album by Ringo Starr, released on September 15, 2017. Although Starr initially intended to produce a country album with David A. Stewart in Nashville, the project evolved into a rock-focused album. The album features contributions from several of Starr's regular collaborators, including Steve Lukather, Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, and Timothy B. Schmit. Notably, former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney makes a guest appearance, playing bass on two tracks and providing backing vocals. Starr announced McCartney's involvement via Twitter. Give More Love includes ten new original tracks and four bonus tracks, which are re-recordings of previous songs by Starr. The re-recordings feature various collaborators: Jeff Lynne and Joe Walsh on the revamped "Back Off Boogaloo," Alberta Cross on "You Can't Fight Lightning," and Vandaveer on "Photograph" and "Don't Pass Me By." Starr announced the album on July 7, 2017, his 77th birthday, and released the title track as a single. Additional singles include "We're on the Road Again" featuring McCartney, Lukather, Walsh, and Winter, "So Wrong for So Long," and "Standing Still."
