"The Need of Love" is the second studio album by American band Earth, Wind & Fire, released in November 1971 by Warner Bros. Records. The album reached No. 35 on the Billboard Top Soul Albums chart and would mark the band's final album with Warner Bros. until their 1993 release Millennium on Reprise Records.
Produced by Joe Wissert and recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, the album features contributions from artists such as Jean Carne. One of the standout tracks on the album, "Everything Is Everything," is a cover of the Donny Hathaway song.
The album's single "I Think About Lovin' You" reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart.
