"Gift" is the fourth studio album by the British alternative rock band Curve. After facing two years of legal disputes with their record company, Universal Records, the band's online success with their self-released album Open Day at the Hate Fest led Universal to reconsider and eventually market Gift in the United States under the Hip-O Records label in 2001. The album was released in the UK a year later by FatLip Recordings in collaboration with Artful Records, and subsequently, it was released in Australia by Hoop Culture Records. The album was co-produced by Ben Grosse and Curve, featuring contributions from band members Dean Garcia and Toni Halliday, as well as additional musicians Kevin Shields, Steve Monti, Alan Moulder, Flood, Rob Holliday, Geno Lenardo, Ben Grosse, and Alan Wilder. The track "Hell Above Water" from Gift gained notable attention through its inclusion in multiple media: it was featured in the trailer for the 2002 film Spider-Man, the 2003 film Bookies, the 2004 film Mindhunters, the trailer for the 2008 film Iron Man, and the 2008 film Lakeview Terrace. Additionally, it appeared in the PlayStation 2 game Gran Turismo 4, the PlayStation 3 game MotorStorm, and an episode of the crime drama CSI (Episode 207, "Caged").
