Jacob Collier

"Djesse Vol. 3" is the fourth studio album by English musician Jacob Collier and the third installment in his Djesse series, released on August 14, 2020. The Djesse series, a collection of four volumes, was first announced on October 29, 2018. The title Djesse, pronounced with a silent D, is a nod to Collier's own initials. Each volume in the series represents a different part of the day, with *Vol. 3* symbolizing the night, reflecting a more introspective and atmospheric mood. The album was well-received and garnered significant recognition at the 2021 Grammy Awards. It was nominated for Album of the Year, while the track "All I Need" was nominated for Best R&B Performance. The song "He Won't Hold You" earned Collier a Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instrumental, and Vocals, further solidifying his reputation as a groundbreaking and innovative artist. In support of the album and the Djesse series, Collier embarked on the Djesse World Tour 2022, which began in North America in March, continued through the UK and Europe in June, and was set to reach Asia and Australia later in the year. The extensive tour was scheduled to visit 91 locations worldwide, showcasing Collier's dynamic live performances and his ability to blend genres and musical styles seamlessly.
