"In The Hollies Style" is the second album by the British rock band the Hollies, released in November 1964 on Parlophone Records. Initially, the album missed the official Record Retailer album chart in the United Kingdom, which had limited spots available. However, it achieved success by charting at No. 6 in New Musical Express magazine's chart, reflecting its popularity at the time.
In Canada, the album was released on Capitol Records in October 1965 with a modified track listing. Interestingly, due to poor sales of stereo copies of the band's debut album in the UK, "In The Hollies Style" was only available there in mono initially. Stereo mixes were instead shipped to other markets. The stereo mix finally became available in the UK in 1967, rebranded as "The Vintage Hollies."
In 1997, British EMI reissued both the mono and stereo versions of "In The Hollies Style" on a single CD, allowing fans to experience both versions of the album on modern formats. This reissue further highlighted the album's significance in the Hollies' early discography and its enduring appeal among collectors and fans of British Invasion rock music.
