The Move


"Shazam" is the second studio album by the British rock band The Move. It was released on February 12, 1970, through Regal Zonophone Records. The band consisted of Carl Wayne, Roy Wood, Bev Bevan, Rick Price, and Trevor Burton at the time of creating this album. "Shazam" highlighted multiple flavors of the band's musical talent and illustrated a departure from the group's initial pop and psychedelic sound, moving toward a more progressive and hard rock genre. This album featured reinterpretations of tracks from other famous artists, like Tom Paxton's "The Last Thing on My Mind," along with a mix of both original songs and covers.
