"Made in Britain" is the twelfth studio album by English ska and 2 Tone band The Selecter, released in 2011 on Vocaphone Records, marking their first album for the label. The album came about after the band reformed in 2010, following a request from a PR company for lead vocalist Pauline Black to record new material with The Selecter to coincide with the release of her autobiography Black by Design. Taking the request seriously, Black and the band quickly wrote and recorded the album, with several band members contributing to the production.
Made in Britain maintains a traditional ska and 2 Tone sound while exploring themes of equality and the genre's multiracial message. The album's lyrics, predominantly written by Black, address a range of social and political issues pertinent to multiracial Britain in the 2010s. The album was promoted with singles such as "Big in the Body, Small in the Mind" and "Back to Black," and received positive reviews from critics who found its lyrics relevant to the political climate of the time. Following its release, the band toured to support the album, and this tour led to the live album Made in Britain.
