"Ridiculous" is the eleventh studio album by the British new wave band Squeeze, released in 1995. The album marks the introduction of Kevin Wilkinson as the band's new drummer (unrelated to bassist Keith Wilkinson). It continues the band's tradition of collaborating with its members, with Keith Wilkinson contributing the song "Got to Me" — the last track he would write for Squeeze. However, unlike past songs, Wilkinson did not perform the lead vocals on this track.
For the first time since 1989’s Frank, Chris Difford took the lead vocals on two tracks, "Long Face" and "Fingertips." Glenn Tilbrook and Peter Smith produced the album, continuing their work from Some Fantastic Place. The album spent just one week at No. 50 on the UK Albums Chart.
Musically, Ridiculous features a notable shift from the more polished sound of previous albums like Play and Some Fantastic Place. The production is described as "stripped-down" and "matter-of-fact," giving the album a more "crisp" and "lively" feel. The track "Grouch of the Day" was compared to the jangling style of The Beatles' Rubber Soul by music critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine.
